Once you agree
to the Finder’s Fee, a Vantiis Consulting Engagement Manager will conduct a
search,
including interviews, among and outside of our members to find your perfect professional.
Our Engagement Managers are not brokers; they are practicing
independents themselves with management and hiring experience.
And, you will always work with an Engagement Manager who knows your
space. If you need a software engineer, your Engagement Manager will
be, or have been, a software engineer. We have found that this
dramatically improves the quality of candidates sent to you as compared
to typical brokers. It is more than likely that there will be three to four high
quality matches. Once the summaries are
presented and we help you make a good hiring decision based on our
combined impressions of the candidates, Vantiis Consulting will not bill
your company for the Independent's time. You’ll deal
directly with, and sign a contract with, the Independent. (If
necessary, Vantiis Consulting has standard employer friendly agreements available.) The
Independent will then bill you for their time.
We’ll count on you to notify us that you signed one of us to a
contract or that you've simply agreed to work with them.
We’ll then
invoice your company separately for the Introduction Fee based on this information.
We’re pretty relaxed about all of this as there is not a lot of
money at stake.
However, if we do check up and find that our system is being
abused, we will simply stop providing your company with what amounts to
practically free headhunting services.
Reference/credential check services
are offered free of charge. Short-term
tax liability risks and long-term employment and co-employment risk can be almost fully mitigated.
